It's Your Big Day! Birthday Card

Happy New Year!
Had a few minutes last night and decided to make a birthday card using the sketch from over at CAS(E) this Sketch this week.  I am loving how it turned out!

Here's how I made it...
I cut a piece of pool party at 4 1/4" and scored it at 51/2".  Then I dry embossed it with the sparkle embossing folder.  I turned the embossing folder, so I only did the top of the cardstock.  Then I cut out clouds from the up and away thinlits using whisper white cardstock and also a heart from the subtles pattern paper pack (calypso coral).  I used the black tuxedo memento ink to stamp It's Your Big Day from the Birthday Banners Photopolymer stamp set on a piece of scrap of old olive cardstock.  Then I cut it out using a die from bunch of banners.  Now I had all my pieces.  Next I stamped Bella and the birdie on a piece of watercolor paper using black tuxedo memento ink pad.  I began coloring with the light crumb cake stampin blend and then colored over top with the dark crumb cake.  I used the light and dark calypso coral.  And I used the bermuda bay light and dark to color in the birdie.  I then set to work taking the color off and creating shading with the color lifter.  After all of that I cut them out and mounted them on the pool party cardstock with mini stampin' dimensionals.    You can find all the supplies I used below.

CAS(E) this Sketch always has amazing sketches to use! And this one is just FAB!
