Wow Wednesday....Envelope to a Bag...VOILA!

Can I just say that when I got the email in January that my Paper Pumpkin kit was in the mail, I was like a kid in a candy store!? It came on January 17th in all its glory! And I couldn't wait to open it up!
Inside of the amazing box was the supplies to make 24 of these adorable bags complete with a stamp set, a pad, an acrylic block and all the accessories that you need to make these projects.  At that very moment, I wanted to head back out to my car and go home...so that I could get busy! But....20 second graders were counting on me that day to deliver a quality education and I would have to wait until my school day was over!

Did I tell you why I subscribed? I decided to hop on board the Paper Pumpkin subscription because during SALE-A-BRATION there is a sale going on where if you buy a 3 month subscription you get it for $55 plus tax! Also, it is such a nice little surprise every month that comes right to your mailbox!

Here's a couple other projects you could do too with your Paper Pumpkin January Kit...
I made this card on facebook live last night.  This week I'll show you how to make a different version with another stamp set. You all are getting to see a preview of my sketch this week! :)
Here's a recap...supplies you need that are not in your paper pumpkin kit...
a strip of 13/4" whisper white cardstock, a piece of blushing bride cardstock cut at 41/4" and scored at 51/2".  You'll also need a piece of blushing bride baker's twine...about 24 inches.
From the kit...
calypso coral inkspot, stamp set, gold embossed tag cut in half and vellum pennant cut in half (make the other  end a pennant before you cut it.  (you'll use the other halves of the vellum and gold embossed tag on your bagalope!), a 2" piece of the heart embossed flat bag.

Lick the envelope.  Cut about 1" off the end.  Stamp with the desired stamp...front and back.  I used watermelon wonder in the video, but I do like the look of cameo coral over the watermelon wonder.  Fold in about 3/4" on both sides.  Folding to the back and to the front, so you get a good crease.  Fold the bottom up about 1" and then fold to the back also.  It stands better with a bigger base.  Put your hand in the bag and flatten the bottom out.  Bring the ends of the envelope to a triangle and fold them in.  I used adhesive to adhere down.  With your scrap whisper white cardstock, stamp the open heart and then place Happy Valentine's Day and the little hearts in it.  Cut the heart out.  Put dimensional on the left half and adhere to a piece of 13/4 X11/2" blushing bride cardstock along with the other halves of the striped vellum and gold embossed tag.  Tie the 41/2 " piece of watermelon wonder mini striped ribbon and attach with a glue dot.  Fill with treats!

Here's the video I put together on how to make a bagalope...

So do you like watermelon wonder or calypso coral ink better with this project?
