thanks so much for Try Stampin'...

Over at Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday there is a new sketch up...
If you want to you can use a baby theme with the sketch or not!!!
I have to say I LOVE this sketch that Sarah C created! You have two weeks to get your creative juices flowing and link it up at the blog or on facebook.

Here is mine,,,
supplies: papers-white cs (neenah) and (k and co); ink- graphite black (archival brilliance); stamps- thanks so much (amuse studio); accessories- felt flower (prima).

This one is easy to put together...
base of card 41/4 X51/2
turquoise and yellow and white pattern paper...33/4 X 5
turquoise pattern paper...4 X 51/4
Lay the bottom left corner so it is flush with the base and angle and adhere.  Cut the edges off the side and top.

I love the hint of yellow in this flower.  I chose the pattern paper with some yellow in  it  too. I thought it went perfectly together!

I am entering this in the anything goes challenge over at The Pink Elephant.

And anything goes at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog

Today is my first DT Spotlight over at Kitty Bee Designs.

I was inspired by the polka dots, the mustache and the colors on the inspiration .

I used the sketch this week over at Retrosketches.
I didn't have enough room to put the banner on the inside layer, so I put it on the outside layer .
I really like the half circles that I put in the corner.  They are just 3 half circles that I punched with my different size circle punches and then I overlapped them.
