Mojo Monday 325

So, I've been stalking Mojo Monday for a few weeks now and finally I threw myself out there again.  Somehow life got in the way of my scrapping and cardmaking, but I have missed it tremendously.  I am hoping that I can find my mojo.  This card went together super fast.  I did move the image from the left to the right...hope that was OK.  I was trying to go for a clean and simple look and resisted the use of my nails to distress the edges. :) And also dig out some other kinds of papers instead of Christmas.

I think it still needs something or I should have angled the greeting.
Supplies: paper- kraft greeting card (paper studio); K&Company; embellishments: Sassafrass Lass and K&Company; stamp: Stampin' Up! ink: Amuse Studio

Thanks for stopping to look! Happy New Year!

What a perfect challenge at Cas-ual Fridays.  It's only December and we've had snow three times this week.  At least today the sun is shining and it's not so dreary.  I think it's beautiful, don't get me wrong, but it's also not my favorite thing in the world either.  I decided to create some colorful snowflakes instead of all those white ones I've seen all week.  I will be sending it to Illinois tomorrow to my daughter who is in Navy boot camp.  I've been making Christmas cards to send to her since she won't be home for the holidays.  She left on November 20th.  I just got my first letter from her on Thursday.  It's been a long three weeks for me, but it sounds like she is in a whirlwind and so so busy.
Here she is with her younger sister the night before she left.  She cut her hair so short, but it was so smart!!!

And here's my card for Cas-ual Fridays challenge.
Supplies- cardstock: sugar (amuse studio) and kraft notecards (paper studio), inks: french roast, fern, currant and blush, stamp set: holiday collection (Stampin' Up!), accessories: minibrads (Stampin' Up!) and trim (paper studio).

Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep warm!

December Mini

For years I have been wanting to make a December day to day calendar.  This year I have finally done it.  Hopefully, you'll join me as I fill it with my December happenings and maybe inspire you to create one next year.  I absolutely could not resist when I found this paper pad at my local Hobby Lobby.  Absolutely amazing!!! Loved it!!! And loved it even more when I got it for 40% off that day.
I wish that I would have been able to get some of the ephemera there, but they didn't have any.  But, I figured with my stash and the leftover paper I would be good.
I bought a Maya Road mini and then added 6 pages of my own with cereal boxes.

Supplies used- papers: believe (heidi swapp), accessories: letters (tim holtz), ribbons (paper studio, stampin' up!), cardboard buttons (lilybee)

Thanks for stopping today! Have a fabulous day!
